Propositions for Marathon 2025

The Čiker MTB Marathon 2025 not only showcases the country’s rich tourism and cultural heritage but also promotes cycling as an eco-friendly sport that reduces air pollution and supports a healthy lifestyle. Each day of the marathon is meticulously planned, considering complexity, mileage, track profiles, and other key parameters. Participants are free to ride at their own pace within the designated track, without the competitive pressures of a race.
Participants can register for the Čiker MTB Marathon 2025 through the club’s official website. The registration fee is €100 and includes:
-Logistical support (mechanical services, goods transport, route markings, and first aid)
-A pre-marathon cocktail night
-A gift package
-A final cocktail dinner to celebrate the marathon’s conclusion

Upon completing the event, the organizer will arrange transport for participants and their equipment back to Kraljevo. The optional transportation fee for cyclists, bicycles, and gear is €30 and must be paid along with the registration fee.
Accommodation registration for the marathon will open at a later date, with details to be announced soon. Participants will have two options for booking accommodations during the Čiker MTB Marathon 2025:

Registration for accommodation at the marathon will start subsequently, and the start date will be announced in due time. Our cyclists can register for accommodation during Čiker MTB Marathon 2025 in one of the following two ways:

Signing up for the Service Package
The Service Package includes:
-Registration fee
-Accommodation on a bed-and-breakfast basis for all nine nights (June 22–30, 2025). Participants will primarily stay in double or triple rooms. Some facilities feature swimming pools or SPA centers, and access to these amenities is included in the package.

Registering without the Service Package:
Participants who choose not to sign up for the Service Package will pay only the registration fee. They will have the option to book individual accommodations for each day in the offered facilities (e.g., hotels, mountain lodges, private accommodations) at predefined nightly rates.
To book accommodations in Kraljevo for June 21 (the day before the marathon starts) and July 1 (the day after the marathon ends), participants must reserve a room from the provided options. Accommodation on these dates in Kraljevo is not included in the Service Package.
Detailed information about the accommodation registration process will be published prior to the start of the application period.
Note: Upon registering for the marathon, participants will need to agree to the following statement:

“I confirm that I am familiar with the terms and conditions of the event, traffic regulations, and guidelines for the safe use of tangible and intangible assets. The organizer has informed me that I should not participate in the marathon or any of the designated tracks unless I am physically and mentally prepared. I understand that it is my responsibility to choose a track that aligns with my current abilities. By signing this statement, I declare that I am physically and mentally ready to participate in the selected track or marathon, and I do so at my own risk.
I acknowledge that the marathon organizer will not be held liable for any injuries, loss of material goods, or other material and non-material damages (e.g., fear, pain, etc.) incurred during my participation. I fully waive the right to claim damages in such cases.
By accepting this statement, I take full responsibility for my actions and their consequences, including compliance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Safety Act and other applicable laws and regulations. I also consent to the use of my name, photos, and videos for the purposes of the marathon organizers in radio, television, electronic media, newspapers, brochures, and similar platforms without expecting any monetary or other compensation. I waive all rights to make claims related to this usage.”

Application Process
To validate the application, participants must:
Complete all required fields with accurate information.
The minimum advance payment is 6000 RSD (50e), which must be paid to the club’s bank account by June 5, 2025.

Providing accurate information is not optional but a necessary requirement to ensure the proper organization and safety of the event.

Given the demanding nature of the marathon, it is essential for participants to be physically prepared, even though the event is non-competitive. Additionally, the type and condition of the bicycle play a crucial role in completing the seven-day journey across challenging terrain. Participants are responsible for ensuring their bikes are in optimal condition before the marathon, free of defects or worn-out parts that could cause issues during the event. If a bike has non-standard or rare components, participants must bring spare parts. To support basic daily repairs, the organizer will provide a service department.

Details about the payment process will be thoroughly explained during the registration process on the Čiker website. If a participant plans to ride less than 50% of the marathon (in terms of days), the registration fee may be reduced. The exact discount will depend on the individual case, and participants seeking a fee reduction should email their request with all relevant details. The organizer will review the request and respond promptly.

All updates and information about the Čiker MTB Marathon, including the application form, brochure, GPS navigation trails, food options along the route, and other relevant details, will be published on the official website, Instagram and Facebook groups.
